Any visitor in the library should observe silence and shall only interact with the library staff for assistance.
Visitors are not allowed to bring edibles with them on library premises.
Smoking is outlawed and strictly forbidden in the library.
Switch off or switch your phones to silent mode as using cell phones, receiving calls, and playing music in the library are strictly prohibited.
Valid identity of library users such as students, faculty, and management of GIFT University is mandatory. False identity may result in action against the individual as per policy.
Guests are not allowed.
Leave your personal belongings like bags, books, and other stuff at the designated place right at the entrance of the library at your own risk/ responsibility. Library management shall not be liable to any claim of damage or loss.
Observe the following rules to maintain library decorum. Activities such as society's meetings, group discussions, sleeping, making noise, furniture disruption, and any misbehavior with library users and staff are restricted in the library.
The issued books will be renewed for a further period of 14 days if the particular item has not been reserved if any other user makes it reserved for an issue. Overdue books will not be reissued.
The students, staff, faculty can check out books (reference material) for a specified time.
